Bakers apoints Paul Tan as managing partner of HK, China and Vietnam

Baker & McKenzie has appointed Paul Tan as the new managing partner of its Hong Kong, China and Vietnam offices. Tan takes over from Poh Lee Tan, who has held the role since 2010. Paul Tan is a corporate and employment specialist with 20 years’ experience at the firm. He is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales and New South Wales.   The chairman of Baker & McKenzie’s Hong Kong, China and Vietnam offices, Lawrence Lee, said: “Poh Lee Tan’s leadership, commitment and passion has seen our offices consolidate and build on Baker & McKenzie’s position as the premier global law firm in the Greater China and Vietnam markets. We are delighted that Paul Tan is taking over this important role.  I am confident that he will further expand and build on the fantastic platform that we have in the region, and continue to grow our strategic offerings to meet the changing business and legal needs of our clients.”
