12 Chinese lawyers to launch new law firm
Twelve partners from top Chinese law firms have set off on their own to launch AnJie Law Firm, which is due to start serving clients in November. AnJie will be led by antitrust specialist Zhan Hao, who left behind his position as executive committee member at Beijing's Grandall Law Firm to take up the role of managing partner for the new firm. Two other partners will serve on the AnJie's executive committee: former Zhong Lun Law Firm antitrust partner Michael Gu and former Beijing Mingtai Law Firm managing partner He Yu. AnJie has hired 50 lawyers so far, with 12 partners, including Chen Bin, Cheng Bing and Li Xiuzhe from Zhong Lun; Zheng Xilin and Huang Zaizai from Grandall; and some partners from Beijing firm Zhong Lun W&D as well.
