Australian firm Minter Ellison hires to boost finance practice

Australian firm Minter Ellison has boosted its Sydney finance practice with the hire of partner James Mok of King & Wood Mallesons. Mok’s practice specialises in structured and asset finance, with a particular focus on aircraft leasing and financing. Head of the Minter Ellison finance division, Paul Paxton, said of the hire: "We have worked across the table from James on a number of transactions. He is well liked by his clients and respected by the market and has an excellent reputation for being technically outstanding and solving problems in a commercial manner.”
