Australian firm Minter Ellison hires to boost finance practice

November 11, 2012 Australian firm Minter Ellison has boosted its Sydney finance practice with the hire of partner James Mok of King & Wood Mallesons.

Mok’s practice specialises in structured and asset finance, with a particular focus on aircraft leasing and financing.

Head of the Minter Ellison finance division, Paul Paxton, said of the hire: "We have worked across the table from James on a number of transactions. He is well liked by his clients and respected by the market and has an excellent reputation for being technically outstanding and solving problems in a commercial manner.”
