Trainee retention buoyant across City

A new survey by The Lawyer reveals that trainee retention across the City is up compared to last year. Norton Rose is the clear winner so far, with a 91% retention rate, an increase from 88% last year. Magic circle firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer will see 40 of its 45 trainees stay on - a rate of 89%. The same rate was seen at Pinsent Masons, SJ Berwin and Wragge & Co.
