Brexit shifts focus to Dublin as key outsourcing hub
In the wake of Britain’s vote to leave the EU, Dublin has emerged as a new hotspot for legal outsourcing services, which seek to provide lower-cost back-office work for firms and in-house legal departments. Although British firms have typically outsourced back-office work to Northern Ireland, many are seeking new office space in Dublin. Outsourcing company Johnson Hana International (JHI) has announced plans to increase its Dublin presence, and Pinsent Masons is in the midst of a search for office space to house up to 100 staff members in Dublin. JHI CEO Dan Fox anticipates Dublin growth to continue as firms consider outsourcing data review to the Republic of Ireland.
