Brexit-focused public policy group launching at Pinsents

Pinsent Masons has announced plans to launch a public policy group to work with clients looking to lobby the Government during upcoming post-Brexit trade negotiations between Britain and the EU. The group will be led by Andrew Henderson, who is currently head of public affairs and external relations for the Williams & Glyn brand of RBS. Henderson is slated to begin the new role in September. Henderson anticipates that the Government will engage with businesses when determining how to approach the impact of Brexit on the economy, and he expects firms to seek out advisers in this realm. DLA Piper and Covington & Burling are reportedly set to offer similar public policy advisory services.
