Simmons picks up two White & Case partners in Italy

A year after closing its Rome office, Simmons & Simmons has hired two White & Case partners to work in its Milan base. The hires include Paola Leocani and Nicholas Lasagna, who both worked as capital markets partners at White & Case. Simmons has been consolidating its Italian operations in Milan since closing its Rome location. Leocani joined White & Case in 2013 and previously worked for Allen & Overy. Lasagna joined the firm in 2011 after having held positions at Latham & Watkins and Clifford Chance.
