Willkie Farr hires KWM competition partner

Willkie Farr & Gallagher has hired King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) competition partner Phillipp Giradet, who will be heading up the firm’s new antitrust and competition group in London. Giradet specializes in competitions law, competition litigation, and regulatory matters. Prior to KWM, Giradet was deputy director of the cartels department at the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), and previously worked as an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He is the latest in a string of recent partner departures from KWM.
