Stewarts Law hires HSF head of advocacy

Stewarts Law has hired Ian Gatt QC, who has left his post as head of advocacy at Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF). He has been hired on as a partner at Stewarts Law. Gatt joined HSF in 2005 and previously worked at Littleton Chambers. While at HSF, he launched the firm’s advocacy division, the first to be established at a major firm. The advocacy unit will now be headed up by litigation partner Adam Johnson and Tom Leech QC.
