Squire Patton Boggs taps KWM for energy team

Squire Patton Boggs has hired Neil Upton, former global energy co-head at King & Wood Mallesons (KWM). He joins the firm along with a team of six, including four lawyers and two business services staff members. Squire Patton Boggs global energy head Lisa Henneberry will oversee the team, which includes associates Maurice Katsigazi, Sushma Maharaj, and Jasdeep Puri. Upton originally joined legacy SJ Berwin in 2012, and he transitioned to KWM during the firms’ merger. He previously worked at DLA Piper, where he served as global head of energy.
