Dechert hires two in London

Dechert has made two new hires in its London office as the US firm bolsters its UK presence. The new hires include John Markland of Kirkland & Ellis, and Ross Allardice of White & Case. Markland was previously a debt finance partner in the London office of Kirkland, where he joined in 2004 from Weil Gotshal & Manges. Allardice has been a private equity partner at White & Case since 2013, and previously worked at Kirkland, where he worked with Markland for nearly a decade.
