Sidley hires Linklaters restructuring partner
Sidley Austin has hired Linklaters restructuring partner Yen Sum, continuing a hiring streak in London this year. Sidley has also recently hired partners from Kirkland & Ellis and Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Sum joined Linklaters in 2008 as a managing associate, and was promoted to partner in 2010. After starting her career at Australian firm Allens Arthur Robinson, she spent three years in-house at Barclays Capital before joining Linklaters’ London office. She joins Sidley Austin as a partner in the corporate restructuring and bankruptcy division, where she will work with asset managers, hedge funds, corporates, and private equity sponsors.
