Macfarlanes to launch Brussels office with former KWM team

Macfarlanes is slated to open its first European office in Brussels in the coming weeks, following the hire of a competition team from King & Wood Mallesons (KWM). The Brussels office will be headed up by Christoph Humphe, who worked in Brussels and London while at KWM. Humphe’s team members, including former KWM senior partner Stephen Kon, along with Tom Usher and Cameron Firth, will be based out of Macfarlane’s London office. Macfarlanes recently closed its only other international office in South Africa, which had opened in 2014.
