Gowling WLG to launch Singapore IP association
Gowling WLG has announced that it will launch an association with local Singapore IP firm JurisAsia. The IP boutique is a new firm, which was established by Sheena Jacob, who previously served as an IP partner at Tan Rajah & Cheah. Before joining Tan Rajah & Cheah, Jacob was head of IP at Bird & Bird. Arthur Yap, formerly of Tan Kok Quan Partnership and Bird & Bird, is the boutique’s other partner. JurisAsia plans to bring on three more IP lawyers, while Gowling WLG’s Singapore office includes two partners.
