Weil partner hired by Kirkland in Munich

Weil, Gotshal & Manges corporate partner Volkmar Bruckner has been hired by Kirkland & Ellis in Munich. The move follows the recent departure of a seven-partner team from Weil’s Munich office. Bruckner specializes in private equity matters, and his clients include companies such as Bain Capital, Siemens, Q-Cells, VMCapital, and Canadian Solar. He previously worked at Latham & Watkins before joining Weil in 2015.
