Hogan Lovells, Bird & Bird and CC expand antitrust practices in Europe
Several firms have made recent appointments within their European antitrust practices. Bird & Bird has hired Hein Hobbelen from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a partner in the firm’s Brussels office. He will split his time between Bird & Bird’s offices in The Hague and Brussels. Clifford Chance has hired David Tayar from Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Paris. He spent 11 years as an associate with Willkie Farr & Gallagher and joins Clifford Chance as a partner. Salomé Cisnal de Ugarte has joined the Brussels office of Hogan Lovells as a partner. She joins from Crowell & Moring, where she advised clients on antitrust investigations and merger transactions.
