Jones Day hires MoFo partner in Hong Kong

Jones Day has hired M&A partner Charles Chau from Morrison & Foerster in Hong Kong. While at Morrison & Foerster, Chau specialized in joint ventures, pre-IPO investment matters, acquisitions for private and public companies, and joint ventures. His clients have included sectors such as healthcare, biotech, real estate, banking and financial services, and manufacturing. Jones Day has hired Chau approximately one month after Scott Peterman left his position as an M&A partner at the firm’s Hong Kong location to join Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
