Simpson Thacher hires former A&O competition co-head John Terzaken

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has hired John Terzaken, who previously served as co-head of competition at Allen & Overy (A&O). He joins Simpson Thacher as a partner in the firm’s Washington DC litigation practice. Prior to joining A&O in 2012, Terzaken worked at the antitrust division of the US Department of Justice as director of criminal enforcement. He has also held prior positions at firms including Ropes & Gray and Morgan Lewis & Bockius.
