Morgan Lewis hires Winston partner in Hong Kong

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has hired litigation partner Charles Mo from the Hong Kong office of Winston & Strawn. Mo’s hire is the latest move in a string of Hong Kong expansion efforts by Morgan Lewis. The firm brought on 13 partners earlier in the year from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, including Edwin Luk, who played a key role in launching Luk & Partners, Morgan Lewis’ association firm in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Winston closed its Beijing and Taipei offices earlier this year, in a move that consolidated its presence in Greater China.
