Dentons to launch Uganda office via local combination

Dentons has announced the upcoming launch of a Uganda-based office through a combination with local firm Kampala Associated Advocates. Managing partner David Mpanga currently serves as head of Kampala, which has previously had tie-ups with Simmons & Simmons and Baker McKenzie. The firm includes 26 total lawyers, of which 12 are partners. According to Dentons chairman Joe Andrew, the firm looks to grow in Africa and looks forward to working with Kampala through the new tie-up.
