The Houston-based energy firm has brought on Damian Watkin as of 4 December and John Gilbert, who is slated to begin on 11 December. Watkin joins the firm from McDermott Will & Emery, where he has been a partner since February of this year. He previously held positions in Sydney and Dubai as a barrister in the global disputes practice at Jones Day. Gilbert most recently served as a partner at K&L Gates in the firm’s London oil and gas international arbitration practice. He previously held positions at Pinsent Masons and BP.
