Kirkland launches in Paris debut with two Linklaters partners

Kirkland & Ellis has announced the launch of a new Paris office, a move that follows years of consideration by the firm. To launch the new office, the firm has brought on Linklaters duo Vincent Ponsonnaille and Laurent Victor-Michel. Ponsonnaille has spent 17 years at Linklaters, including 12 as a partner based in both London and Paris. Victor-Michel became a partner at Linklaters’ Paris office last year. Kirkland & Ellis is based in Chicago and has traditionally been conservative with regard to international expansion.
