Simmons closes Rotterdam and moves all Dutch lawyers to Amsterdam office

Simmons & Simmons announced that it is to close its Rotterdam office and move all its Dutch activities into a single Amsterdam office from 2010. The Amsterdam office will then consist of around 100 fee earners, concentrated in the practice areas of corporate, financial markets and dispute resolution. The move comes after a two-month consultation on the fate of the Rotterdam office, which had been the larger of the firm's two Dutch branches.
