US legal sector sheds 3,900 jobs in June

June was a bad month for employment in the US legal sector, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics reporting a drop 3,900 jobs. Meanwhile, the modest gains reported at the end of May – an increase of 300 jobs – have been revised to show a loss of 600 jobs as figures are adjusted. The sector has lost 22,200 jobs since this time a year ago.
