Hogan Lovells to pay marketing professional close to US$1m

A new marketing officer at Hogan Lovells is rumoured to be taking home a salary of close to $1 million a year. Jolene Overbeck has worked with a number of US law firms, including Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, Shearman & Sterling, Latham & Watkins and DLA Piper. The bloggers at RollOnFriday note that Overbeck’s tenure at DLA Piper saw bad form in the Communications department, with staff reacting against huge lay-offs and harsh redundancy packages by leaking confidential documents to the press.
