US BigLaw cut down to size

The 250 largest law firms in the US reduced their lawyer headcount by about 3,000 lawyers last year, and has scaled back by about 9,500 lawyers since 2008, according to a survey of the National Law Journal. These ‘big’ firms are on average 8% smaller than they were in 2008.
