Linklaters boosts Paris capital markets team with Gide hires

Linklaters has boosted its Paris capital markets team with the hire of a partner and three associates from Gide Loyrette Nouel. Patrice Doat was a partner at Gide for seven years, and is not set to join Linklaters as a partner. The hire will be a welcome addition at Linklaters, which suffered key partner losses in the past 12 months with the sudden death of M&A star Thierry Vassogne in January and the recent departure of banking partner Arnaud Fromion to Shearman & Sterling earlier this month.
