Taylor Wessing to launch tech practice in London

Taylor Wessing is set to boost its technology capacity with the launch of a second office in London. The office, in east London's 'Tech City' will offer expertise in technology, media and telecoms, venture capital, intellectual property, tax, inward investment and employment practices, and will focus on servicing UK and international technology start-ups. Taylor Wessing's Tech City chief Simon Walker said: "Entrepreneurship is increasingly recognised as an important driver of economic growth and innovation. As such, we see companies in Tech City as an area in need of dedicated investment." He added: "Our office in Tech City brings us closer to the businesses of tomorrow and allows us to help them grow by sharing our experience and understanding of the issues they face. We want to ensure we are supporting these firms from the centre, not the sidelines."
