Clifford Chance elects two to partnership council
Clifford Chance has elected two new partners to its partnership council, elevating Italy banking head Giuseppe De Palma and Dubai banking partner Robin Abraham to three-year terms on the oversight body as of next month. De Palma and Abraham replace New York banking partner Thomas Schulte and Amsterdam corporate partner Jeroen Koster. They will join the existing members – senior partner and council chair Malcolm Sweeting, global insurance head Katherine Coates, commercial litigation head Simon Davis, Asia head of disputes Martin Rogers and Frankfurt corporate partner Daniela Weber-Rey – who work as part of a team responsible for managing the firm’s reputation and values. The partnership council runs alongside the management committee, is in charge of the firm's strategic decisions.
