BLP hires high profile M&A lawyer from Allens

Berwin Leighton Paisner has hired high-profile mergers and acquisitions lawyer Alan Paul from Allen & Overy. Paul spent 27 years as a partner at A&O, before announcing his retirement at the end of last year. He will now join BLP as a senior consultant. Paul said: "There are exciting developments taking place at BLP as they balance investment in their homegrown team with external recruitment. I look forward to being able to make my contribution to the firm's ambitious plans for its international corporate practice."
