Armstrong Teasdale bolsters Shanghai office with new hires
Armstrong Teasdale has bolstered its China practice with the addition of two partners, two associates, and a business consultant in Shanghai. Thomas Bottini joins the firm’s Shanghai office in the role of Shanghai chief representative and international practice partner. He previously served as Shanghai chief representative from 2001 to 2003. Corporate partner Steven Yu joins the firm from CMS Cameron McKenna, where he specialised in mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, and international joint ventures. “We are taking these initial steps in response to a steady influx of international transactional business and increasing opportunities for investments both in the United States and Asia,” said Michael Chivell, Armstrong Teasdale’s managing partner. “The explosive demand for legal services in this area, especially intellectual property, is the driver for allocating additional firm resources to Asia and adding more lawyers.”
