Pinsent Masons records 39% growth following merger with McGrigors

Pinsent Masons posted a 4 per cent increase in revenue in the 2011-12 financial year, a figure that leaps up to almost 39 per cent when turnover from merger partner McGrigors is added in. Pinsents alone brought in revenues of £221 million, up from £212.7 million in 2010-11, while McGrigors brought in around £74 million before the end of a short year finishing in September at the time of the merger. Total revenue for the combined firm, then, was £295 million. Managing partner David Ryan said: “Our results show that we’re continuing to perform strongly in a difficult market. The continued investment in our staff and infrastructure has increased our ability to respond to changing client demand. The merger with McGrigors built on this, and as a combined firm we’re in a strong position for growth in the coming years.”
