Williams & Connelly ranks as the best US law firm to work for
The tough job market means that fewer lawyers can be choosey about their place of work, but for those with options a ranking of best law firms to work for might be useful. And it can’t hurt the industry as a whole to have an annual accounting of which firms are treating their employees well, and which workplaces fall behind - if only to shame the stragglers into action. The top ten firms to work for, according to the annual Vault rankings, are: Williams & Connolly Ropes & Gray Patton Boggs & Blow Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz Sutherland Asbill & Brennan Foley Hoag Munger Tolles & Olsen Fish & Richardson Paul Hastings Gibson Dunn & Crutcher Washington DC firm Williams & Connolly and Boston firm Ropes & Gray held onto their rankings as the number 1 and number 2 firm from last year’s list. The new additions to the top ten are Munger Tolles and Paul Hastings.
