Renova Group hires former Simmons Moscow chief

BP’s Russian joint venture partner Renova Group has boosted its in-house team with the hire of the former Moscow chief of Simmons & Simmons, Konstantin Orlov. It is understood that Orlov has been undertaking private projects since Simmons & Simmons closed its Moscow base in 2009. Orlov joins the company in a role equivalent to deputy general counsel, reporting to chief legal officer Igor Cheremikin. He will replace current post holder Dmitry Lavrentiev, who has already left the business.
