SNR Denton negotiates for merger with Canadian firm

Transatlantic law firm SNR Denton is negotiating a possible merger with a Canadian firm, while continuing tie-up talks with Salans.
SNR Denton informed partners that it hopes to merge with a firm in Canada, although the name of the firm has not been announced. It isn’t clear whether SNR Denton intends a three-way merger between itself, Salans and the Canadian firm, or the exeution of two separate deals. But the merger with Salans is expected to go to partnership vote in the coming weeks, with the deal likely to be structured as a Swiss verein.
