Nabarro emails reveal prior merger denial

Emails have been revealed indicating that Nabarro senior partner Ciaran Carvalho sent a firm wide email on 12 September claiming that mergers were not a part of the firm's strategy. The email was sent just weeks before the firm confirmed merger discussions were underway with CMS and Olswang. The three firms are considering a merger that would create a firm worth more then £1bn. Carvalho sent a subsequent email confirming prior speculation about a merger.
