Maurice Allen to retire from Ropes UK

Ropes & Gray UK office founder and senior partner Maurice Allen has announced his retirement, effective at the end of 2016. Allen’s current role as senior partner was established in 2014. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray in 2009 to oversee the launch of Ropes’ UK office, Allen worked for a number of firms, including Coward Chance, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, and White & Case. Following his retirement, Allen will remain with the firm as a consultant.
