Morgan Lewis surfaces as potential KWM partner

As King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) evaluates a potential combination with CMS Cameron McKenna, another possibility has emerged with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. According to a Morgan Lewis partner, the firm has held talks with KWM in recent months, with increased activity in the past few weeks. Morgan Lewis chair Jami Wintz McKeon is understood to have led the talks. KWM has experienced some turbulence lately, as the firm seeks to strengthen its EUME and Asia-Pacific business units.
