Hiring frenzy hits Addleshaws, Bakers, Dentons, and Weil
The legal market has seen an uptick in hiring activity, with several hires occurring last week across firms including Addleshaw Goddard, Baker & McKenzie, Dentons, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, and Withers. Addleshaws has hired Jonathan Fletcher Rogers, who will be based in the firm’s London office. He joins from Abbiss Cadres, an employment and incentives firm, and previously worked at Allen & Overy. Baker & McKenzie has hired M&A partner Arman Kuyumjian, who joins the firm’s New York office from Haynes and Boone. Weil has hired competition partner Kevin Arquit from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He will work in the firm’s New York office, and previously worked as a partner at Clifford Chance, in addition to serving as general counsel at the US Federal Trade Commission. In Singapore, Dentons has hired John Dick from Ernst & Young 2958], while Withers has hired corporate partner Farhana Siddiqui from Drew & Napier.
