Jones Day takes on Freshfields real estate team in Paris

Jones Day has hired a Paris-based real estate team from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. The team includes real estate head Erwan Le Douce-Bercot, along with associates Solène Maulard, Alix Pallier, and Flavia Poujade. The team’s departure follows several recent exits from Freshfields’ Paris office, including a four-partner exit to Orrrick Herrington & Sutcliffe last summer. Meanwhile, Freshfields is looking into hiring a five-partner private equity team from Ashurst.
