Dentons hires Bakers team for Amsterdam tax practice

Dentons has hired a four-partner Baker McKenzie team in the Netherlands for the launch of its new tax practice in the country. Dentons opened its Netherlands location upon the acquisition of Boekel in May 2017, and the firm operates as Dentons Boekel in the region. The team includes Heico Reinoud, Jurjen Bevers, Marnix Veldhuijzen and Paul Halprin, and will be based in Dentons Boekel’s Amsterdam office. According to Dentons Netherlands managing partner Wendela Raas, the new hires will help the firm to bolster its capabilities and better serve clients.
