Kirkland brings on Eric Schiele from Cravath in New York

Kirkland & Ellis has hired M&A specialist Eric Schiele, who joins the firm from Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He will be based in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis, which has made a number of recent hires. Schiele has worked at Cravath for over 17 years, and has been a partner at the firm since 2008. Kirkland has made several major hires from rival firms in the past few years, bringing on partners including David Higgins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Matthew Elliott from Linklaters, and Michael Steele from Freshfields.
