Lovells invites 21 lawyers to partnership
Lovells has promoted 21 lawyers to the partnership in the annual promotions round – an increase from the 19 that were appointed in 2009’s round, but down from the 31 promotions in 2007. There were ten promotions in the firm’s continental Europe offices across Milan, Madrid, Paris, Munich, Hamburg and Duesseldorf, five in the London office, three in Hong Kong, one in Shanghai, one in Dubai and one in Hamburg. Senior partner John Young commented: "These appointments acknowledge the hard work of each individual during very challenging economic times. As we launch the new firm, Hogan Lovells, on 1 May, we will continue to invest in the associate community, to ensure legal talent rises to the top for the benefit of our clients around the world."
