Ashurst makes up 12 lawyers to partnership

Ashurst has promoted 12 lawyers to its partnership, up from 11 last year. The corporate practice saw the most promotions in this round, with five new partners. Two partners were made up in finance, and one in each of antitrust, dispute resolution, energy, infrastructure and real estate practice groups. Of the 12 lawyers promoted, only one is female. This could be seen as something of a trend at the firm: all twelve lawyers promoted in 2010 were male, and there was only one female lawyer among the ten promoted in 2009. The details of the promotions are as follows: Antitrust Ross Mackenzie (London) Corporate Chris Bates (London) Mat Hansson (Stockholm) Alastair Holland (Abu Dhabi) Tom Mercer (London) Jorge Vázquez (Madrid) Dispute Resolution Daniel Jiménez (Madrid) Energy Judith Kim (Dubai) Finance Hubert Blanc-Jouvan (Paris) Sebastian Schoon (Frankfurt) Infrastructure David Jardine (Abu Dhabi) Real estate Marc Bohne (Frankfurt)
