Good news on UK trainee retention figures
RollonFriday continues to report on trainee retention figures in UK law firms, and the overall picture is starting to look a bit more positive than it did at the start of the season. Eversheds has offered employment to all eight of its trainees, which puts it up alongside SJ Berwin, Travers Smith and Wragge & Co for maintaining full retention and keeping the implied promise it makes to trainees when they are recruited. Ince & Co has also done well, keeping 14 of its 15 trainees for a 93% retention rate. TLT also lost just one of its six trainees, gaining an 83% retention rate, while Slaughter and May reported that 26 of its 29 trainees will stay with the firm, or 90%.
