UK firms release trainee retention results

UK firms Debevoise & Plimpton, Farrers and Jones Day have all announced that they will retain 100 per cent of their September 2012 qualifiers. Debevoise is keeping on all six of its trainees, while Farrers keeps its ten and Jones day keeps its 11 trainees. Other firms with decent retention rates include Shearman & Sterling, which offered NQ spots to seven of its eight September qualifiers, and White & Case, which is keeping on 13 of its 16 trainees. At the bottom of the list of those firms that have reported their retention rates to date is Olswang, which is keeping on only 9 of its 14 trainees, or 64 per cent.
