King & Wood Mallesons boosts Shanghai M&A practice with Herbert Smith hire

King & Wood Mallesons has boosted its M&A practice in Shanghai with the hire of former Herbert Smith M&A partner Simon Meng. The hire continues a string of high-profile recruitments by the firm, including Dirk Walker from Dewey & Leboeuf and Dina Yin from Linklaters in Beijing.   Meng is qualified in both New York and Paris, and specialises in M&A, direct investments, and joint ventures in China.
